How to prepare the perfect steak on a Fervor Ranger Gas BBQ

For many the steak is the perfect go-to piece of meat to prepare at a BBQ dinner. Some like it cooked well-done others want the ‘blood’ dripping out of the tender beef. Even though the steak is such a popular dish to prepare, it may be hard to prepare the perfect steak on a grill. Today we’ll show you how we think you should prepare a pepper steak on your Ranger Gas grill.

Ingredients (for 4 steaks)

Let’s cook

It is important to start a few hours before you want to grill by ‘marinading’ the steak  with the freshly ground pepper. This enables the steak to soak up the peppery flavour. Just simply cover the steak with some aluminum foil and put in the fridge for at least 3 hours (but better to leave overnight).

Heat your Fervor Gas Grill to approximately 250°C. You want to sear the steak shortly (approx. 2-3 minutes). Make sure to close the roasting hood so warmth stays inside the grill.

In the meantime, grab some aluminum foil to wrap the steak once it is cooked. And after the 2-3 minutes let the steak rest for a few minutes.

Then it is time to eat! Serve on a plate and garnish with some rosemary and some Jeremy’s Relish Crispy Green to add some freshness to the pepper steak.

Clean the grill

Everytime after you have used the Fervor Ranger, it is important to clean the grill thoroughly. By doing this, you will get to enjoy your Ranger even longer. Try out the Fervor Cleaning Brush with Nylon Bristles. Use the brush while the grill is still somewhat lukewarm. This reduces the chance for stained oils and fats on the grill which can lead to more flareups.
